Mindlessly Follow

I got my new blog; everyone blogs these days i thought i should mindlessly follow them ... Wow, that is a nice way to start one's blog. I have read this, or similar postings, over and over again, while I was checking who took all the cool URLs for their blogs. Reading this made me mad, almost aggressive. I don't know. Maybe it is the absence of creativity to start a blog with: "Hey, this is my first blog. I am just so happy to have a blog now". Well, no, that's not it; I am used to empty lines. Or maybe it the fact that almost every one seems to start a blog like this: "I am just so happy to have a blog now, like everyone else." Well and again no, that's not it either; I am used to zombies following the crowd. Or maybe, and I think that what really did piss me off, its the fact that almost all of these blogs that started with this stupid line also ended with this stupid line.

Why does everyone needs to start a blog like everyone else, just to stop right after this first expression of missing creativity like almost everyone else. Don't say nothing just because you seem to be forced to say something since everybody else decided to say something without saying anything. Even though, this seems to be more then nothing, it is just something that drives me crazy. People mindlessly running around, despratly looking for any guidence in their pointless existence: I have to do what my friends do, I have to do what the commercials are telling me to do, I have to do what my parents want me to do, I have to ... Why? Why don't you do something new. Like Shakespear did, or this other english fellow who invented gravity. Wow, gravity. That's something, someting with value, a real benifit to society. We would never have build the atom bomb when we were still floating arround like in the ancient days. Ok, that might be a bad example.

I am just concerned that most people seem to be contented with doing just everything right. Sure, being a cogwheel of scociety is a role, even an important role. But you can do more than that: be a bigger cogwheel, even one with a few teeth missing, or an oval one. Just leave this dull existence of doing what every one else does. Leave zombie nation.
